Think marketing, quality, education and innovation – that’s me in a nutshell! From Silicon Valley to Fortitude Valley! Be it biotechnology, aged care, disability or education and training! My unique career combines a PhD and MiBA with 20+ years’ management experience and a proven ability to drive continuous improvement and targeting one’s points of difference. Whether its corporate or entrepreneurial, I have a passion to work in a creative environment that is customer focussed. At both academic and professional levels, I have received awards, chaired working parties, and been recognized as an established presenter and publisher. Oh, and before I forget, I come from a small sheep farm and as such, its very fitting to call myself the black sheep consultant!
In 2010 I moved to Australia where I completed my Masters in International Business. At the same time and totally by chance I started working in aged care utilising my marketing, quality, education and innovation skills. I've not looked back since! In addition to consulting, I also lecture on these fine topics at a few universities, bringing my passion for these areas to the classroom. Need I say anymore?!
My prior education includes a B.Sc. (Hons) in Chemistry and Ph.D in Organic Chemistry & Automation. After that I spent the majority of my career in Silicon Valley heading up various global marketing and customer service programs in the US, Europe and Asia.
